Musical Salute to Black Film
Fundraiser - Sunday, November 2, 2025
Baby Grand, Wilmington DE

The 2025 Beautiful Gate Outreach Center (BGOC) Fundraiser was held on Sunday, November 2nd, at the Baby Grand Theater, bringing the community together for an unforgettable historical evening of music, celebration, and purpose. This year’s theme, “A Musical Salute to Black Film,” honored the artistry and cultural impact of Black cinema through powerful performances by Dominic Santos, Arianna Clark, Kori Beaman Cheatham, David Bazemore, Shana Roberts, Tommie Fisher-Klein, and Tonya “TS” Baynes. The vibrant sounds of the John Coley Quartet, featuring John Coley, Dennis Fortune, Barry Boyd, and Mike Jamison set the tone for an inspiring program that celebrated both creative excellence and community spirit.
The evening also recognized exceptional leadership and service within the community. The 2025 Livingston N. Lee Beautiful Gate Angel Awards were presented to Cynthia Warner and Suzanne Sanders Tait for their steadfast dedication, while the C.T. Tomlin Beautiful Gate Legacy Award honored the Daniels Family for their enduring commitment to compassion and advocacy. Funds raised from the event will help keep the doors of the Beautiful Gate Outreach Center open, supporting critical services such as HIV testing, medical care, transportation assistance, and prevention education. The fundraiser stood as a shining testament to BGOC’s mission of hope, healing, and empowerment.
